About this painting
A painting about the information and time, the duplication and replication of information across aeons, fading with each replication, static solid memories fade into ethereal clouds.

The title co-incidentally came to mind and I thought yes, this would be an appropriate use of, and homage to, Dali's famous painting, but here, I thought, my painting really would be about the persistence of memories, rather than the sad and slow, liquid passage of time.

A skeleton hangs in a dark wasteland at the end of time, space and the vast and empty universe sings it's tuneful song, while a handprint in the day fades to gentle disruption and decay over aeons of endless time.
