About this sculpture
This robot was made as a prop for an unrealised painting in the style of Joseph Wright.
The initial plan was to transform a steam train into a pose and I used a model train and other parts to construct, the pose of a robot rising like the growth of industry and technology. He added a motor to the high hand, electricity, the pinnacle of Victorian invention, and thus the robot was named. |
