About this painting
Painted for an art competition held by Urenco, a company that refines uranium. I wanted to paint more than a landscape and represent the technology of nuclear energy.
The natural nuclear power of the sun, Helios, is eclipsed by a sphere of earth, Uranos, extracted from the mountain. |
