Butterfly Hunter

A butterfly hunter,
seeking a catch.
Stalking the wet grass,
with flickering eye.

Speaking tentatively.
Winding though paths
with due delicacy,
and care.
Hold back the need for her;
the attractive common blue
bathing there.

Hold back the need.
Hide from the eyes.
Smile.
Entice.

Delicate wings open then close
in the warm glow.
Fast then slow.
Staring at the sun, beyond.
Beyond the eyes.
It flies.
