Look Away Now

Look away now,
for the sky has turned grey.
The clouds became crackled
and floated away.
The sun became orange.
The rivers went thick.
The coarse trees were brittle,
their leaves brown and sick.

Look to the moon,
in the velvet blue sky.
The cold stars that wink
with emotionless eyes.
Breathe in the fresh air,
cool, empty, alone,
and turn off your memory,
for now you are home.
