Food Phobia

Limbs limp.
Jaws slowly roll chocolate in.
Tired and thin.
To weak to smile,
or speak or think.
On the brink of sleep but trapped.
Dazed, awake.
Lying in fear
of blackness, so near.

Room pulses, ears ring.
Pains, thick and heavy,
everywhere.
Eyes dryly stare.
Heat.

Starving but afraid to eat.

Light and sound
all around.
A rush, frenetic, mental.
Too fast to think.
Flee from thought.
Peace not sought.
Self;
lit and caught.
