Sweet Blue Icing Sky

Yellow green sun,
as bright as love,
as sweet blue icing sky
on this crystal morning mine.

My arms were glowing as I awoke,
floating high with dreams of you.
Rich chocolate love.
A toffee hue.
These April birds taste as I do.

I want today to last all year.
I want this year to last forever.
I wish this morning lasted all my life!
This joy, this boyish smile, this fun!
This sweet blue icing sky,
and brilliant sun.
