War On Terror

Eternal plateau formed of mist.
A spiny scare encrusted fist.
Unending streams of war and screams
and every man a terrorist.

As dogs chase tails and clocks grin twice,
as trees pulsate with hate and lies,
the masses cower, enslaved by threat.
The twin attendants, blood and sweat
in Phobos, Deimos eyes.

An azure sky of perfect air.
A formless bubble of our lives.
A beauty raped and left for dead,
infinity, the serpent fills,
a snake of splintered knives.
