Dog People

Dog people, there they are
we all know one,
don't we, or do we?
Not personally, no actual dog people friends,
as such,
but I hear of them,
people say they're real
those people hated by the dog people
swear that they're everywhere
waiting and hating,
everywhere polluting
the populace
The dog people
in the woods
Out to get you
Out to get us
I can't say I know one myself,
not a friend,
nor can I say I've actually seen one
not actually really seen one,
myself,
but they say that they're real
the dog people
the horrible dog people
