we did not plan it, but gravity
pulled us closer
towards the precipice
event horizon
towards a star we could not see

We had to end it
to save our souls
to save our loved ones
our sanity

And we must bleed
in torture raw
Our China cracked
forever more

Forever parted
our silent pain
a drowned remembrance
of embryo
