That's All I Am

I see a spirit
in the window,
like the echo of a person or an age.
And in the eyes,
I see confusion.
And in the voice
I hear a loss.

To you it's easy.
To you it's destiny.
To you it's function,
one last injunction.
For you are living
and I am losing
For you existance
forms a resistance.

Everything I've every done.
Everyone I've met.
That's all I am...

And now the picture
becomes a forest
a plentiful oasis of desire.
And like a tiger
in the mountains
I see a blanket,
I hear the call.

For you it's easy.
For you are many.
For you are master
and you are Earth.
For you are living
and I am fleeing
For you a spirit
is a resort.

Everything I've every done.
Everyone I've met.
That's all I am...

I see a portrait
speaking to me
but decide that the reflection isn't there.
And in the darkness
of my existance
I see the future
and not the past.

To you it's easy.
To you it's destiny.
To you it's faction,
one final action.
For you are living
and I am fading
For you existance
forms a resistance.

Everything I've every done.
Everyone I've met.
That's all I am...
That's all I am.
