Emergency Love

Got a call, from my baby last night,
and her voice, wasn't sounding alright,
she said I want you here.
I want you now!

So I got, on my chromium steed,
riding out, at the top of my speed
and then I found her there
on the bed,
and then she said

I need emergency love!
...emergency love!
Some emergency love!
Tonight.
I need emergency love!
Tonight... from you.

I recall, when I saw her alone,
in the club, in her own little zone
I thought I'd say hello.
She made me smile.

Took a while, but we met up again,
chatted more, and she seemed like a friend,
and so I wrote to her
and she to me,
and we both felt

the slow emergence of love.
Emergence of love.
The emergence of love,
so warm,
was the emergence of love,
of love... for her.

(solo)

It is sad, there was no-one before
made it better when I opened the door
and saw her lying there
just for me,
before she said

I need emergency love!
...emergency love!
Some emergency love!
Tonight.
I need emergency love!
Tonight... from you.
