Like A Ragdoll Falls

Head over feet.
Like a falling wheel.
Like a spirals curl
turns the girl.

In the calmest air
on the cloudless day.
She in whirls and calls
like a ragdoll falls.

If only we could pause the clock.
If we could make it stop.
If we could find the time.
If we could just rewind.

As in the horrored gaze
of parents panicked shock
their time like treacled tar pulls out.

Diving in air
like a dolphins dance.
Like a whip gone wild
spins the child.

In the calmest air
on the cloudless day.
She in whirls and calls
like a ragdoll falls.

Water and sky.
Which way up am I?
Water and sky.
Which way up am I?
