I Don't Want To Be Born

I don't want to be born.
I'm worried and I feel forlorn.
I am frightened by the coming storm.
I don't want to be born.
The world is such a stressful place.
I don't want to run the human race.

When I was just a cell I thought that life was just great,
but nine divisions later I was feeling irate.
Now it's been nine months and I feel rough,
and I have had enough.

I don't want to be born.
I don't desire a single breath,
a century of misery, then death.
I don't want to be born.
My purpose isn't very clear.
Frankly I did not ask to get here.

It's true I'm rather young in fact I'm not even nought.
They think I am a catch but I don't want to be caught.
So I pray to keep away the dawn,
I do not want to be born.
I do not want to be born.
(repeat and fade)
