Standing By A Bus Stop In The Rain

I could be lying in a soft pink Persian bed
A winsome princess and a slice of hot fresh bread.
"What would sir like?" a butler speaks to me.
"Perhaps a cup of hot tea..."
I want a cup of tea!

(but in the real world)
I'm just standing by a bus stop in the rain.
The bus is late I'm waiting on my own for it to come.
I'm just standing waiting for the sun.
I'm just waiting by a bus stop on my own.
There's nobody just me the road some litter and a hole.
I'm just stuck here standing by a pole!

I could baking on a distant mystic shore.
just after diving to the soft warm ocean floor.
I could be drinking coloured cocktails by the sea...
or just a cup of hot tea...

I could be telling witty stories to rich folks
impressing royal parties with my jokes.
I could be sitting by a fire sleepily
thinking of drinking hot tea...
I want a cup of tea!

(but in the real world)
I'm just hoping for a little bit of sun.
My shoes are full of water and my hands are nearly numb.
Waiting for a bus that doesn't come.

And I feel like a lemon.
And I feel like a lemon!
And I feel like a LEMON!
And I feel like a lemon!
