Nobody Noticed

He wasn't lonely,
he never wanted to stay,
and so quite slowly
began to filter away.
Nobody missed him.
Nobody at all.

The tiny concept
began to grow like a rust
and unseen masses
began to fade into dust.
Nobody missed them.
Nobody at all.

Look around you can see them everywhere.
Look around you can see them everywhere.
Look around you can see them everywhere.
Look around you can see them everywhere.

The church was crumbling
around the old and the thin.
Calcification
had started work on the skin.
Nobody minded.
Nobody at all.

And through the windows
among the youth and decay
armies of people
were simply fading away.
Nobody noticed.
Nobody at all.

Look around you can see them everywhere.
Look around you can see them everywhere.
Look around you can see them everywhere.
Look around you can see them everywhere.

Beside a dust ball
a tiny beetle at work,
constructs a dust pile
to mark his time on the Earth.
Nobody saw him.
Nobody at all.

In every viewpoint
in vast diameters span
we see dead buildings.
