2025 Remastered Version
Finnegans Judgement is a section of James Joyce's novel Finnegans Wake set to music. This was originally created for an art project by Derek Pyle called Waywords and Meansigns. I expanded the work slightly with an instrumental introduction to create a short album and add unity to the whole. One point of note is the lack of possessive apostrophes, as in Finnegans Wake. Originally composed and recorded in 2017. This remastered version has better vocal clarity, although the original vocal recording imposes some qualitative limitations.
