About this painting
The second painting in what I named 'The Resurrection Sonata', after 'Improvisation On A Theme Of Toad'. The image again included Nikiphoros Lytras' Antigone, and the image of silent film star Gwili Andre. As before, no underdrawing or pre-planning was used, the work was improvised with a feeling of musical improvisation.
