About this painting
A painting about loss, being cast out to an emotional desert.
The work shows a rough, towering, teratismic, overbearing structure that opposed a tiny figure. Blowing and dripping very liquid paint was used to great effect to create a loose, pattern rich object ripe for automatic suggestions. In the end, the tower reflected a mood of loss, and the tiny figure became a wind blown tree. |

Technical details
Like much of my work of this period the picture was augmented by a custom frame design.
