About this painting
A picture of nuclear and ecological destruction. The title stems from a prediction by Nostradamus that the Earth will be devoid of all life by the year 3797.

This picture demonstrates a combination of abstract and surreal styles. A brain is roughly manhandled by a hopeless and hollow figure. A violet river flows into the distance, while overhead, clouds and cones echo nuclear mushroom clouds.
