About this painting
This is the central figure from Iterations of Isolation. The painting is about social exclusion and how right-wing views stem from lack of loving contact. I wanted to create a feeling of enclosure, and so cropped the painting tightly in a triangle to create a feeling of pressure.

A fragile human being is safe, protected, warm, but trapped by that protection. The essence of the womb.
