About this painting
An idea reawakened by the Kurt Vonnegut novel Slaughterhouse Five, this is a long-standing idea initially about the bombing of Dresden in The Second World War, but about other Dresdenic bombings which take place from time to time in the great cycles of cataclysm and recataclysm.

Crows, violet, fire, smoke, tiny aircraft, ruins, death, destruction. All of the nothing that remains is here.
