Medicine Man

This is a polyphonic poem. The left and right sides are to be read simultaneously

I am the medicine man
and I bring you fire,
and hope, the life water
of salvation.
Bless me!
Praise me.

All hail the medicine man!
he is our water of life,
and hope, we owe our strong
destiny to him.
Bless him!
Praise him!

See there, the chariot on the horizon
See there the sun blink.

-
I am the medicine man.

I bring you fire,

and hope,
the life water of salvation.

We weep at your bony feet
We weep.

Thank you.

We give thanks.
