About this event
One of a series of experimental art performance nights at music venue Mash Guru, curated and organised by Sabine Kussmaul and Mark Sheeky. The theme of the evening was Mind Circus.

Mark Sheeky opened the night with The Wailing. Words were spoken over a drone hummed by the audience, while a close-up live projection of the face of artist Rebecca Smith filled the screen.

More live projection took place as Sabine and Mark painted or manipulated 3D objects to accompanying live music; guitar by Sabine, jazz saxophone by James Tartaglia and Mark Sheeky on piano.

Congleton duo bbAcidD2; Chris Godber and Matt Nin played live electronic music, and Mark Sheeky spoke over a video piece, What The Night Feels Like; then screened short film The Enigma of the Two Heads. Matt Cotteril and Ross Massey played live over a pre-recorded projection. Andrea Buccino read a short story with accompanying improvised guitar music by Pete Mason. Simon Woolham of M4SK 22 performed live music, and bass player Tom Baskeyfield played to a snow-filled video.
