For two and a half years Mark produced and presented the arts radio programme, ArtsLab, for community station RedShift Radio. For the first year he played unusual music and interviewed artists. For the second and third series Mark invited aritsts (or anyone else) to create new audio work for broadcast each week; a ground-breaking and challenging format. One of the highlights of ArtsLab was I, Leviathan, a 90-minute experimental audio drama at the end of the second series created by a group of artists, poets and regular ArtsLab contributors.
ArtSwarm
Mark left RedShift to create ArtSwarm in March 2018, a similar format of programme to ArtsLab, but developed as a video show for YouTube. Mark Sheeky and Deborah Edgeley produced and presented two series of programmes until the end of 2019. The ArtSwarm video show evolved into a live stage event of experimental performances by artists, poets, musicians.
